Arthur Read Jeweller was established in Goole in 1948. For the last 75 years and over 3 generations we have welcomed customers new and old to our Goole store. In recent months we have completed a transfer of ownership to another family owned business. Brown and Gold Ltd are a Yorkshire based business from Leeds with 9 branches across the North of England. Christopher Brown the owner and director is himself a 6th generation jeweller and pawnbroker and we are delighted that Goole will continue to have a high quality traditional jewellers, but now with even more selection and services to choose from.
The branch has undergone an entire refit to make it lighter and brighter and created more space to allow the traditional services we have always been known for, such as high-quality diamond and antique jewellery, quality repair service and gold-buying to continue. We will also be reintroducing services old and new such as pawnbroking – a service we always offered in the past - and new products like travel money to provide our customers a convenient money service offering.
We now stock an even bigger selection of antique, second hand and individually selected new jewellery with fresh products added in store every week.
All pre-owned items are cleaned, refurbished, fully guaranteed and supplied in appropriate presentation boxes with complimentary gift wrapping on request.
